Date/Time: Tuesday, June 5th, 2018 between 2:00 PM and 9:30 PM
Location: 100 Block of Periwinkle Drive, Dover, DE

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred in the 100 Block of Periwinkle Drive. Between 2:00 PM and 9:30 PM on Tuesday, June 5th, an unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by forcing entry into the home while the house was unoccupied. The suspect(s) ransacked the residence and stole several paris of shoes, hats, a necklace, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Location: Stop and Shop Convenience Store, 1102 White Oak Road, Dover, DE

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Sunday afternoon. At approximately 3:15PM, two black male suspects entered the Stop and Shop located at 1102 White Oak Road. Once inside, the suspects displayed black handguns, with one going behind the counter. The suspect that went behind the counter removed miscellaneous items from the store as well as an undisclosed amount of cash, and the victim’s cell phone as the second suspect stood near the door and acted as a lookout. Both suspects then fled northbound on foot, possibly towards White Oak Condos.

Incident/Complaint#: 50-18-17554
Date/Time: Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 at 8:40PM
Location: Area of Loockerman Street and S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE

Narrative:
A 30-year-old Dover man was arrested on weapons charges after waving what appeared to be a firearm at a group of people on Tuesday night. At approximately 8:40PM, officers responded to the area of S. Bradford Street and Loockerman Street for a report that the man later identified as Dareus Anderson, was waving a firearm in the air. Upon arrival, witnesses advised that Anderson, who was dressed in all red, had been arguing with a several subject in the area and motioned toward his waistband while making threats about a gun. Officers located Anderson and discovered that he had a BB gun tucked in the waistband of his pants. A further search revealed a 7″ butcher knife in his backpack as well. Anderson was taken into custody without incident and will be charged with the following offenses:
-Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Possession of Deadly Weapon by Person Prohibited
-Disorderly Conduct
Anderson has not been arraigned on the above offenses as he was hospitalized shortly after arrest for an unrelated issue.

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a commercial burglary that occurred between Friday, May 25th, 2018 at 7:00PM and Sunday, May 27th, 2018 at 10:17AM. During that time, an unknown suspect forced entry into the business by breaking a window. The unknown suspect then entered several offices within the building and took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing.
