The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for Anna Dinan, 62, of Claymont. Dinan suffers from a condition that may pose a risk to her health and safety if not properly monitored and treated. Dinan is described as a white female, approximately 5’1″ and approximately 123 pounds, blonde/strawberry hair, and brown eyes. Dinan was last seen leaving Bayhealth Kent Campus on April 6, 2023. It is unknown what she was wearing at the time.

Narrative: The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred overnight Friday on Eiger Court. The investigation began at approximately 9:42 a.m. Saturday, when Dover Police received a call for a burglary at a residence on Eiger Court. Officers responded and the ensuing investigation revealed that between 9:00 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday, a suspect entered an unsecured garage door and entered the home. While inside, the suspect removed several items belonging to the victim and fled on foot. The residents were sleeping upstairs when this incident occurred.

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for Shawn Valentine, 29, of Bear. Valentine suffers from a condition that may pose a risk to his health and safety if not properly monitored and treated. Valentine is described as a black male, approximately 6’1″ and approximately 150 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes. Valentine was last seen in the 200 block of Trafalgar Drive. At the time, he was wearing a grey hat, black shirt, and black shorts, driving a white 2014 Infiniti QX6 with Delaware registration PC276500. Attempts to contact him have been negative.

The investigation began at approximately 9:28 p.m., when Dover Police received a call for a burglary at a residence on Lakeview Drive. Officers responded and observed damage to a rear window. The ensuing investigation revealed that between 11:00 a.m. and 9:28 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) broke into the home through the rear window and once inside, the suspect(s) damaged items in the home and removed an undisclosed amount of property.

Narrative: The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred Wednesday at Country Club Apartments. The investigation began at approximately 3:29 p.m., when Dover Police received a call for a burglary at an apartment in the complex. Officers responded and observed damage to the front door of the apartment. The ensuing investigation revealed that between 11:00 a.m. and 3:29 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) forced the front door to the apartment open to gain access. Once inside, the suspect(s) damaged property inside of the residence and removed an undisclosed amount of property.

The Dover Police Department is cancelling the gold alert for Ishmael Allen-Wesley. He has been located and is safe.
Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for Ishmael Allen-Wesley, 20, of Sharon Hill, PA. Allen-Wesley suffers from a condition that may pose a risk to his health and safety if not properly monitored and treated. Allen-Wesley is described as a black male, approximately 6’4″ and approximately 170 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes. Allen-Wesley was last seen in the 200 block of North Kirkwood Street on Wednesday evening. At the time, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and brown Ugg boots.

**UPDATE 04/05/2023** The victim in the motorcycle collision from April 2, 2023 has been identified as 45-year-old Michael Jones of Newark, NJ. Sadly, Jones succumbed to his injuries on Monday, April 3, 2023 while receiving treatment at a New Castle County Hospital.
The Dover Police Department is still evaluating the facts and circumstances of this case and investigation is ongoing.

Narrative: The Dover Police Department is investigating a serious crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle, that left a 45-year-old male from Newark, NJ, seriously injured Sunday evening. The investigation began when Dover Police was called to the area of North Governors Avenue and Cecil Street at 6:48 p.m. for the report of a serious vehicle collision. Officers arrived on scene and located the 45-year-old male who had sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. The victim was initially transported to a nearby hospital, however, he was later airlifted to a New Castle County hospital for further treatment.
The ensuing investigation revealed that the victim was traveling northbound on North Governors Avenue on a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle approaching Cecil Street. At the time, a 2020 Dodge Durango, operated by a 68-year-old male of Dover, was on Cecil Street and turned onto North Governors Avenue into the path of the victim, causing the vehicles to collide and the victim was ejected from the motorcycle.
The Dover Police Department is still evaluating the facts of this case and at this time there have been no charges filed.
