Dover Police, With Aid From Other Agencies, Wrap Up 2-Day Warrant Roundup Operation 8-28-14
The Dover Police, along with other law enforcement agencies have wrapped up a successful 2-day warrant roundup operation. Beginning in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 26th and ending Wednesday, August 27th, officers from the Dover Police Department, U.S. Marshall’s 1st State Fugitive Task Force, Delaware State Police, Department of Corrections, and Probation and Parole worked together to track and apprehend persons with outstanding warrants for their arrest. The operation was a success, with 34 persons being arrested on numerous criminal charges as well as several capias’ issued by courts across the state. Officers involved in the roundup operation stated that all persons arrested were generally cooperative and considered the operation one of their most successful warrant roundups in recent history.
