Weekly Shoplifting Arrests 8/21-8/28

The Dover Police Department responded to 26 complaints of shoplifting at various retailers from August 21, 2014 through August 28, 2014.  At the time of this release, 19 arrests were made, 16 cases cleared, with 10 currently under investigation.  Juvenile arrests for shoplifting have dropped significantly, which can be attributed to the school year.  Next week’s arrests will include arrests from August 28th through September 4th.
