Narrative:
On May 31, 2015, at approximately 12:55 am, officers from the Dover Police Department Patrol Unit were on patrol in the area of Redners Super Mart located in the Green Tree Shopping Center. While in the parking of the shopping center the officers saw a person, later identified as David Perrera, walk up to the front door of the business wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. The officers then heard a loud popping sound, followed by the sound of glass breaking. After this happened Perrea retreated to the parking lot of the shopping center, where he was taken into custody by the officers, carrying a hammer and work gloves.
David Perrera was arrested and released on a $3,250.00 unsecured bond. The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7111.
