Man Wanted in Thursday Shooting 3-24-16

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting that left a 24-year-old man wounded. The incident occurred near the intersection of Boggs Drive and Nimitz Road at 12:50AM on Thursday when the 24-yer-old male victim met Jaymere Lewis (19). The victim engaged in an argument with Lewis and during the argument, Lewis fired a single shot at the victim, striking him in the leg. The victim was treated at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for the injury.
Jaymere Lewis is currently wanted by the Dover Police Department for Assault 1st Degree and Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony.
