Narrative:
The Dover Police Department has arrested Ralph Douglas Poore (55) for a single charge of Stalking after he appeared at his ex-girlfriends residence on Monday morning. A neighbor observed Poore pull into the driveway of a residence on Stoney Drive in a red Mercedes convertible, wearing a paramedic uniform and immediately recognized Poore. The residence he parked in belongs to Poore’s former girlfriend. When the neighbor observed and contacted Poore, he fled in his vehicle. Poore was previously contacted in August of 2016 and advised that the former girlfriend wished to end all contact with him after he repeatedly made statements that placed her in fear for her safety. He was later arrested in December 2016 by the Dover Police Department for a single charge of Harassment involving the same victim.
Poore was arrested by the Dover Police Department at his place of employment, the Kent County Department of Public Safety building at 911 Public Safety Boulevard without incident on Monday morning and charged with Stalking. Poore was released on $2,000 unsecured bond following an arraignment at Justice of the Peace Court #2.
