Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for a missing 18-year-old man.  Jesus Goicuria was reported missing after he made concerning statements that may affect his safety.  A description on Goicuria was not immediately available.  If you have any information on Goicuria’s whereabouts, please contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111.

Shooting on Weston Drive Leaves Man in Critical Condition 3-30-2019

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 35-year-old Dover man in critical condition on early Saturday morning.  At approximately 3:50AM, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the Unit Block of Weston Drive.  Upon arrival, officers located the victim with a gunshot wound to the upper body.  The officers performed first aid until medics arrived and transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.  

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7111. Dover Man Arrested After Selling Drugs from Home on Representative Lane 3-28-2019

Narrative: 

On Tuesday, March 26th, officers from the Dover police Department and the U.S. Marshal’s First State Fugitive Task Force arrested Damian Legrand (32).  Legrand  was wanted out of Kent County Superior Court on multiple capias’.  Officers had observed Legrand conduct multiple sales of heroin to subjects from the residence on Representative Lane which led to officers obtaining a search warrant.  Legrand was found to be in possession of heroin, marijuana, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

Legrand was charged committed to SCI in default of a $71,000 secured bond and had his bond revoked on two prior drug dealing cases that are still pending on the following charges:

-Delivery of Heroin (5x)
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Possession of Cocaine
-Paraphernalia

Two Arrested on Drug Charges During Traffic Stop in Manchester Square 3-28-2019

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department arrested two men on drug charges during a traffic stop on Wednesday afternoon.  At approximately 4:14PM, officers observed Randall Harris (26) operating a vehicle in the area of Stevenson Drive and White Oak Road.  Harris does not have a valid license and had two small children in the vehicle who were not properly restrained.  During the stop, officers could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle.  

Terrance Smith (passenger, 34), was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and 30 ecstasy pills.

Randall Harris was found to be in possession of 13.9 grams of crack cocaine.

Smith was released on an O.R. bond on the following offenses:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Ecstasy
-Possession of Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia

Harris was released on an O.R. bond on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine
-Possession of Crack Cocaine
-Endangering the Welfare of a Child(2x)
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Traffic Offenses

Dover Police Investigating Shooting At Country Club Apartments 3-27-2019

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 25-year-old male victim hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The incident occurred at approximately 1:46AM on Wednesday, March 27th.  The male victim was walking to an apartment in the 400 Block of Country Drive when he and another witness heard a gunshot.  Both started running, but the victim was shot twice in the right arm and one in the hip.

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for a missing 35-year-old man.  Cornell Kahaulelio  was last seen leaving a residence in the 700 Block of Forrest Street on foot.  Kahaulelio made concerning statements prior to his departure and has a condition that may impact his health and safety if not monitored properly.  Cornell Kahaulelio  is 5’11”, 190 pounds, shaved head, no facial hair, and was last seen wearing dark sweatpants.  No further description was available.  If you have any information on Kahaulelio’s whereabouts, please contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111.

Gold Alert Issued for Missing 18-Year-Old Man 3-25-2019

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for a missing 18-year-old.  Anthony Yeagley was reported missing by his family on Monday, 25th after he was last seen leaving his residence at 8:00PM on Sunday night. Yeagley has a condition that may present health or safety concerns if not properly treated/maintained.  Anthony Yeagley was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and black./white sneakers.  If you have any information on Yeagley’s whereabouts, please contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111.

Arrest Made in Several Commercial Burglaries 3-18-2019

 Location: Rent-A-Center, 27 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department arrested Kerry Pinkard (56) on burglary charges after he broke into a Rent-A-Center store on Saturday night.  At approximately 10:35PM, officers responded to the business for a glass break alarm and observed Pinkard slowing from a jog in the area.  Officers contacted Pinkard and observed that he had fresh cuts on his hands and wrists from broken glass at the scene. Pinkard had used rocks to break a glass window an enter the business.  Once inside, he caused damage to a laptop computer before fleeing.  

Pinkard was also charged with burglary and related offenses  in connection with a Burglary at Oreck Vacuum that occurred on March 14th, 2019.

Pinkard had been previously charged with burglaries that occurred at US GAS and Metro PCS on February 26th and was released on an O.R. bond.
