Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating the robbery of an 18-year-old man that occurred on Thursday evening.  At approximately 7:11PM, the victim was walking toward White Oak Road in the 200 Block of N. DuPont Highway, when he was approached by an unknown male suspect.  The suspect pulled out a knife and demanded money from the victim.  The victim refused and the suspect then cut his finger and chin during with the knife during an altercation before fleeing.  The victim then fled to hi residence and notified police.  The victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital where he was treated for his wounds.

The suspect was described by the victim as a black male, 5’10”, short “afro” style hair, and was riding a bicycle.  

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Location:  Enterprise Car Rental, 635 S. Bay Road, Dover, DE

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department arrested one suspect as it continues to investigate a burglary that occurred at Enterprise Car Rental on Saturday night.  At approximately 9:49PM, officers responded to the business for a burglary alarm and found that a suspect used a rock to break a front door and entered the business, removing several sets of vehicle keys from the business.  The keys the suspects took did not belong to any vehicles that were on the property at the time.

Later in the evening, a group of subjects were observed near the building.  Officers attempted to contact the subjects and they all fled on foot.  Each subject was detained, but only one suspect (Darius Payne) could be linked to the burglary.

As a result, Payne (20), was released on $12,100 secured bond on the following charges:
-Burglary 3rd Degree
-Theft Under $1,500
-Criminal Mischief
-Wearing a Disguise During Commission of Felony
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Resisting Arrest

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department arrested Dakota Borntreger on weapons offenses on Saturday night.  Officers contacted Borntreger in the 200 Block of S. DuPont Highway after being observed operating a vehicle in the area.  Borntreger was wanted by the Delaware State Police at the time for Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited.  

Borntreger was taken into custody without incident and was found to be in possession of a 9mm handgun with a obliterated serial number.  

Borntreger was committed to SCI on a $20,000 secured bond on the following charges:
-Carry Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by  Person Prohibited (2x)
-Possession of a Firearm with Obliterated Serial Number
