Dover Police Investigating Robbery of 18-Year-Old 10-7-2019

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is investigating the robbery of an 18-year-old man that occurred on Thursday evening.  At approximately 7:11PM, the victim was walking toward White Oak Road in the 200 Block of N. DuPont Highway, when he was approached by an unknown male suspect.  The suspect pulled out a knife and demanded money from the victim.  The victim refused and the suspect then cut his finger and chin during with the knife during an altercation before fleeing.  The victim then fled to hi residence and notified police.  The victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital where he was treated for his wounds.

The suspect was described by the victim as a black male, 5’10”, short “afro” style hair, and was riding a bicycle.
