Suspect Arrested in Enterprise Burglary, Others Sought 10-7-2019

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department arrested one suspect as it continues to investigate a burglary that occurred at Enterprise Car Rental on Saturday night.  At approximately 9:49PM, officers responded to the business for a burglary alarm and found that a suspect used a rock to break a front door and entered the business, removing several sets of vehicle keys from the business.  The keys the suspects took did not belong to any vehicles that were on the property at the time.

Later in the evening, a group of subjects were observed near the building.  Officers attempted to contact the subjects and they all fled on foot.  Each subject was detained, but only one suspect (Darius Payne) could be linked to the burglary.

As a result, Payne (20), was released on $12,100 secured bond on the following charges:
-Burglary 3rd Degree
-Theft Under $1,500
-Criminal Mischief
-Wearing a Disguise During Commission of Felony
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Resisting Arrest
