Date/Time: Monday, March 30th, 2020 between 6:30AM-3:30PM
Location: Unit Block of Prestwick Court, Dover, DE

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary of a local residence that occurred on Monday in the Unit Block of Prestwick Court. Sometime between 6:30AM-3:30PM, an unknown suspect entered the residence through an unsecured window and removed several electronic items before fleeing the area.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delawarecrimestoppers.com; a cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.

The Gold Alert for Genieve DuBois has been lifted after she was located safely.

The Dover Police Department has issued a gold alert for a missing 17-year-old girl. Genieve Dubois was last seen leaving a hotel room at the Capital Inn, located at 1426 N. DuPont Highway. She is approximately 5’3″, 140 pounds, shoulder-length red/auburn hair, and brown eyes. Genieve DuBois was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, a rainbow colored backpack, and was barefoot. There is concern for her safety due to medical issues that require treatment.

Location: Parking Lot U.S. Gas, 505 Bay Road, Dover, DE

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department arrested one man on assault related charges and another for drug charges following an altercation on Thursday afternoon. Officers were originally called for a fight in the parking lot of U.S. Gas, located on Bay Road. Officers contacted an 18-year-old male victim with multiple injuries, including serious head injuries. The investigation revealed that Jiar Johnson(23) assaulted the victim and used a choke-hold to make the victim lose consciousness, and continued to assault him.
The victim was transported to Kent General Hospital for treatment for the injuries.
Johnson was committed to SCI on the following offenses:
-Assault 2nd Degree
-Strangulation
-Disorderly Conduct
Shaheed Berry (21) was contacted during the investigation and found to be in possession of 30 bags of heroin, 10 grams of marijuana, and $435 in drug proceeds (cash). Berry was released on an O.R. bond on the following offenses:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
-Possession of Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia
UPDATE:
The Dover Police Department arrested Isiah Trotter (30) in connection with the March 19th robbery that occurred in the parking lot of The Depot. Trotter was contacted and arrested on March 23rd without incident and charged with Robbery 1st Degree.
Trotter was released on a $20,000 unsecured bond.

Location: Parking Lot of The Depot, 595 Forrest Street, Dover, DE

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery of an 87-year-old man that occurred on Thursday. At approximately 11:42AM, officers responded to The Depot for a report of a robbery. Officer learned that a black male suspect pinned the 87-year-old man against his vehicle and forcibly removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim.
No injuries were reported.

Date/Time: Monday, March 23rd, 2020 at approximately 1:22AM
Location: Puffster, 115 West Loockerman Street, Dover, DE

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department arrested Jeffrey Hayman (38) on Monday morning for a burglary at the Puffster shop on West Loockerman Street. At approximately 1:22AM, officers received a call that Hayman had broken the front window to the business with a brick and had fled with items. Officers were also advised that the owner was chasing the suspect on foot. Arriving officers located Hayman and took him into custody, also recovering the stolen merchandise.
Hayman was released on a $3,000 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Burglary 3rd Degree
-Theft Under $1,500
-Criminal Mischief over $1,500
UPDATE:
The Dover Police Department arrested Rasoul Hanner in connection with the burglary at the Law Office of Ligouri and Morris. Dover Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit processed several items from the burglary and were able to obtain fingerprints that came back to Hanner. Hanner was contacted by police on March 22nd and taken into custody without incident. Hanner was released on a $1,300 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Burglary 3rd Degree
-Possession of Burglar Tools
-Theft
-Criminal Mischief

Location: Law Office of Liguori and Morris, 46 The Green, Dover, DE

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at the Law Office of Liguori and Morris, located at 46 The Green. Between 5:00PM on March 10th and 6:50AM on March 11th, an unknown suspect entered the business by forcing a side door open. Once inside, the suspect removed an undisclosed amount of cash and loose change, a bottle of liquor, and other items. The suspect also caused damage to a piece of office equipment.
