Arrest Made in Turnberry Drive Burglary and Vehicle Theft

UPDATE: The Dover Police Department has charged Bernard Steininger (25), of Dover, in connection with the May 16th burglary and vehicle theft.  Steininger was developed as a suspect and warrants were obtained for his arrest.  Steininger turned himself in at the Dover Police Department on the evening of May 18th. Steininger was released on a $15,000 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Criminal Mischief
-Burglary 2nd Degree
-Theft of a Motor Vehicle
-Theft Under $1,500

Narrative:

On Sunday, May 16th, officers responded to the area of Kenton Road for a single vehicle crash involving a black Ford Explorer with Delaware Registration PC89263.  A witness advised officers that the driver fled on foot on Kenton Road.  Shortly after, officers were called to a residential burglary on North Turnberry Drive.  In this incident, the suspect broke a rear glass door and stole the victim’s wallet, truck keys, and a vehicle.  The stolen vehicle is a red 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 with Delaware Registration 78645.  The truck has a bed cover, a marine corps front vanity plate, and two airplane decals on the rear driver side window.  

The suspect seen fleeing the accident and at the burglary was described as a white male, wearing a white t-shirt.

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred in the 100 Block of South Queen Street.  Sometime between 3:50 p.m. on May 13th and 2:48 a.m. on May 16th, an unknown suspect entered the residence by breaking a rear window.  Once inside, the suspect rummaged through the residence and stole miscellaneous property from the home.

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred early Sunday morning.  At approximately 4:20 a.m., officers responded to the 100 Block of S. New Street for a report of shots fired.  Officers located a 47-year-d female with a gunshot wound to her leg.  The victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital to be treated for her injury.  The suspect was described as being a tall black male with lighter skin and glasses.

Two Baltimore Men Arrested on Firearms and Drug Charges

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested two men from Baltimore, MD on drug and firearms charges on Friday evening.  Miguel Dorsey (22) and Marquis Pack (23) were stopped in the area of S. Bradford Street and Division Street when officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.  Upon checking the vehicle, officers located a backpack containing 45 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia commonly used for the sale of marijuana.  A second bag was also located inside the vehicle that contained a handgun and ammunition followed by additional bags of marijuana containing 136 grams, 122 grams, and two bags containing 4 grams of marijuana in each.  While walking Pack to the patrol car, he attempted to flee on foot while handcuffed but was taken into custody quickly.  Dorsey was searched after being taken into custody and found to be in possession of “brass knuckles” and a switchblade.  

Officers later conducted a check of the firearm and learned that it was reported stolen out of North Carolina.  

Miguel Dorsey was released after posting a $1,700 secured bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Deadly Weapon During Commission of Felony
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Drug Paraphernalia

Marquis Pack was committed to SCI on a $14,000 cash bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Deadly Weapon During Commission of Felony
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited
-Receiving Stolen Firearm
-Resisting Arrest (2x)

Two Wanted in Connection with DPD Firearms Investigation 5-6-2021

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is seeking two wanted suspects connected to an ongoing firearms investigation by the agency.  Rahiem Jackson (23) and Maya Hairston (24), both of Dover, are wanted by the Dover Police Department for the following offenses:

Rahiem Jackson:
-Violation of Probation (2x)
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited

Maya Hairston:
-Resisting Arrest
-Disregard Police Officer’s Signal

Both suspects may be operating a white BMW 328 with Delaware Registration: 457987.  The vehicle likely has significant front end damage.

Firearms Investigation Leads to Arrest of Two

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested two subject on firearms related offenses on Wednesday afternoon.  Trequon Seth (23) was the subject of a firearms investigation and is a known gang member in the Dover area.  Investigating officers contacted Seth on Country Drive at approximately 2:50 p.m. on May 5th.  Seth was found to be in possession of a 9mm handgun and approximately 57 grams of marijuana.  During the investigation, it was discovered that Aalyah Casson (21) is the person who provided Seth with the firearm, despite him bein prohibited from the possession of a firearm.  

Seth was committed to SCI on a $46,050 secured bond on the following offenses:
-Possession of a Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (3x)
-Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Illegal Gang Participation
-Possession of Marijuana

Casson was released on a $3,000 unsecured bond on a single charge of Giving a Firearm to a Person Prohibited.
