Dover Man Arrested After Vehicle Pursuit

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested a 23-year-old Dover man following a vehicle pursuit through the city on June 28th.  Officers located a GMC Terrain that was involved in a June 24th shooting that occurred in the Bicentennial Village neighborhood in the parking lot of the Delaware Probation and Parole building at 511 Maple Parkway.  When officers attempted to contact the operator (Kyree Robinson), the vehicle fled.  Robinson led officers throughout various parts of the city during the pursuit, which ended when Robinson collided with three other vehicles at the intersection of Saulsbury Road and Forrest Avenue as he was traveling east on Forrest Avenue.  Robinson was quickly taken into custody by officers.  

As a result of the collision, multiple persons were treated for minor injuries (various aches/pain):
-67-year-old female
-74-year-old male
-51-year-old female
-63-year-old female

Robinson was committed to SCI on a $3,300 secured bond on the following charges:
-Disregard a Police Officer Signal
-Resisting Arrest
-Vehicular Assault 3rd Degree (4x)
-Reckless Driving (3x)
-23 Various Traffic Offenses

Additional charges may be added as the investigation progresses.

Two Men Arrested in Parking Lot with Firearms

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested two men firearms offenses in a parking lot located in the 100 Block of S. Bradford Street on Saturday night.  Officers contacted six people gathered around a black Ford Fusion who were smoking marijuana at approximately 11:47 p.m.  While contacting the subjects, officers observed two handguns that had been placed underneath of the Ford Fusion.  Upon further investigation, it was determined that the firearms belonged to Jermaine Brown Jr. (20) and George Robinson (23).  Upon checking the serial numbers on the weapons, it was discovered that both were reported stolen out of Delaware State Police Troop 9.

Vehicle Shot on Bicentennial Boulevard

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Bicentennial Boulevard and Declaration Drive.  Officers were called to the area for reports of shots being fired.  The investigation revealed that a Chevrolet Trailblazer pulled in front of a GMC Terrain at the intersection.  A subject in the GMC Terrain fired multiple rounds in the direction of the Trailblazer and both then fled the area.  Officers located the Trailblazer in a nearby neighborhood with multiple bullet holes in it and contacted the owner.  The owner was uncooperative with police other than to say that an argument had occurred in The Hamlet Shopping Center (corner of Walker Road and McKee Road) prior to the shooting.  Detectives were able to confirm that both vehicles were in the shopping center using video surveillance but were unable to determine if an altercation occurred.  

No injuries or further damage was reported as a result of gunfire.  A mailbox in the area was struck by a fleeing vehicle.

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is issuing a Gold Alert for a 23-year-old Millsboro woman.  Taylor Parisi was transported to Kent General Hospital for treatment of a condition but fled at approximately 8:33 p.m.  Parisi has a condition that may put her health and safety at risk if not treated or monitored properly.  Parisi is a white female, 5’4″, 139 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.  She was last seen wearing blue jeans with a hole in them and a black t-shirt.

Two Arrested on Firearms Charges During Traffic Stop

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested a pair of brothers on firearms charges during a traffic stop on Wednesday night.  At approximately 9:41 p.m., officers stopped Tylis Randall (18) and Michael Randall (20) for a traffic violation.  Both brothers were in possession of black “fanny packs.”  During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered a loaded handgun in each of the packs the suspects possessed.  The pair was arrested without incident.

Shooting on River Road

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 400 Block of River Road on Wednesday morning.  Officers responded to the area for a report of shots fired at 12:07 a.m. and located a 26-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the leg.  The victim was transported to Kent General Hospital for treatment of his injury.  A residence and a vehicle were also struck by gunfire as a result of this incident.  The victim has been uncooperative with investigative efforts.

Arrest Made in June 20th Shooting at Capital Inn

 

UPDATE:  The Dover Police Department, Delaware Probation and Parole, and the U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force arrested the suspect involved in the June 20th shooting at the Capital Inn.  Caleb Collins (31) was taken into custody at a residence in the 7000 Block of S. DuPont Highway in Felton at approximately 12:33 p.m. on June 22nd without incident.  Following the arrest, officers found that Joshua Collins (36), who is Caleb Collins brother, was in possession of 27.5 grams of methamphetamine.

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at the Capital Inn on Sunday morning.  At approximately 2:38 a.m., officers were called to the Capital Inn for a report of a shooting and located a 23-year-old male victim with a single gunshot wound to the back.  The victim was transported to Kent General Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
