Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred early Tuesday morning.  At approximately 12:45 a.m., a 20-year-old female was driving in the area of Kenton Road and Walker Road after leaving a gathering for a recent homicide victim at a nearby cemetery.  As she was turning right onto Walker Road, a white vehicle fired at her vehicle, striking it several times.  The driver was not injured.  The victim could only describe the suspects as “several black males” inside of the white vehicle.  The victim then drove to her residence and notified police.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130.  Callers may remain anonymous.  Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delaware.crimestoppersweb.com; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.
