On Friday, June 4th, 2021, Lamar Howard turned himself in at the Dover Police Department.  Howard was committed to SCI on a $55,000 cash bond.  At this time, Sadique Ingram is still at large. The Dover Police Department has arrested one suspect and is seeking two others in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on April 27th, 2021 (see original release below).  Rayquian Horsey (21) was arrested after reporting to Probation and Parole on June 1st. Horsey was committed to SCI on a $47,500 secured bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Illegal Gang Participation

Sadique Ingram (20) is wanted for the following offenses:
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony
-Reckless Endangering 1st (2x)
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Illegal Gang Participation
-Criminal Mischief

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred early Tuesday morning.  At approximately 12:45 a.m., a 20-year-old female was driving in the area of Kenton Road and Walker Road after leaving a gathering for a recent homicide victim at a nearby cemetery.  As she was turning right onto Walker Road, a white vehicle fired at her vehicle, striking it several times.  The driver was not injured.  The victim could only describe the suspects as “several black males” inside of the white vehicle.  The victim then drove to her residence and notified police.

Shooting on Woodcrest Drive

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Thursday evening in the 900 Block of Woodcrest Drive.  At approximately 7:18 p.m., officers responded to the area and located a 25-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the groin area.  The victim advised he was involved in an illegal drug transaction when the suspect stole money from him and shot him before fleeing in an older model Ford-F150 that was described as being “faded blue.”  The suspect was described as a light-skinned black male.

The Dover Police Department is issuing a Gold Alert for a 66-year-old Magnolia man.  Charles Darby was last seen in the area of Kent General Hospital as his wife was being treated for a medical issue.  Darby is a black male, 5’9″, and 180 pounds.  Darby was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and red/white Jordan sneakers.  He may be driving a blue Chevrolet Malibu with Delaware registration: 457646.

The Dover Police Department is investigating a a burglary that occurred at Cricket Wireless on Monday morning.  At approximately 4:24 a.m., officers were dispatched to the store for a burglary alarm.  Arriving officers found that the front window to the business was broken and an unknown amount of merchandise was stolen from the store.  No suspect information was available at the time the of release.

Houston Man Arrested on Gun Charges

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested 20-year-old Dwahn Hooks on firearms offenses following an incident on Sunday night.  At approximately 7:09 p.m., officers were dispatched to Slaughter Street for a report of a subject (Hooks) threatening a group of people with a handgun.  Just prior to officers arrival, Hooks entered the passenger side of a gray SUV and fled the area.  Officers located the SUV and stopped it in the area of New Burton Road and Dover Street.  Hooks and the driver were taken into custody without incident.  During a search of the vehicle, a loaded 9mm handgun was located under Hook’s seat.

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that damaged an occupied residence early Sunday morning.  Officers responded to the unit block of Ann Avenue at 3:01 a.m. for a report of shots fired.  Arriving officers located a home that had been struck by gunfire.  The home was occupied by a single resident at the time of the incident.  The occupant of the home was not injured.
