Narrative: The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at Delaware Shoppes, located at 325 S. State Street.
On August 31, 2026, officers responded to the business after employees discovered that an entrance door had been left unsecured and an undisclosed amount of cash had been removed from the register. The burglary is believed to have occurred sometime between midnight and approximately 8:45 A.M.
The investigation remains active, and detectives are working to identify the suspect.
