Dover Police Investigate Burglary at Dunkin’ 9-2-26

Narrative: The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred early Wednesday morning at the Dunkin’ located at 470 S. Dupont Highway.
At approximately 12:40 a.m., officers responded to the business for a burglary alarm and discovered that both front glass doors had been shattered. Officers entered the business and confirmed that no one was inside.
An interior safe had been opened, and an undisclosed amount of cash was reported stolen. The suspect also took a drink from the business before leaving.
Surveillance video showed a male suspect wearing a tan hat, black pants, black shoes, and a multi-colored blanket. The suspect approached the business from the south, shattered the front doors with an object, and entered the store.
