Armed Robbery DOT Discount Tobacco Outlet 11-19-2013

Location: DOT Discount Tobacco Outlet (1255 S. State Street, Dover)

Narrative:   The Dover Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery at the DOT Discount Tobacco Outlet, in the Carrol’s Corner Shopping Center on November 19th, at 6:29PM.  The suspect, a black male, entered the business wearing a black bandana, dark sunglasses, dark gloves, and jeans.  The suspect displayed a weapon and demanded money from the clerk on duty at the time.  The suspect then fled with an undisclosed amount of currency.  The clerk was not injured in the encounter.  the Dover Police Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating the matter at this time.  Anyone with any information should contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111.  You may also submit an anonymous tip with Delaware Crime Stoppers by phone at: 1-800-847-3333 or online at:  http://delaware.crimestoppersweb.com/
