Arrests Made in Residential Burglary Case 3-18-2014
Incident #: 50-14-5629 Date/Time: B/T March 7th, 11pm-March 8th, 6am
Location: 400 Block of West Division Street
Narrative:
The Dover Police Department responded to a reported residential burglary on Saturday, March 8th in the 400 block of West Division Street. The victim advised the responding officers that sometime between 11pm and 6am, an unknown subject(s) entered their residence while they were sleeping. During this time, the subject(s) removed a Dell computer, cellular phone, a credit card, and the victim’s car keys/vehicle. The stolen vehicle was a 2005 Nissan Sentra, that has since been recovered. Upon further investigation by the Criminal Investigations Unit, it was discovered that the victim’s credit card was used at several establishments. Video surveillance was obtained of the suspect using the card and she was positively identified as Monica Heath. Heath was arrested by the Dover Police Department on March 11th. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Jeffrey Thomas was involved in the burglary as well. Thomas was subsequently arrested on March 12th.
