Victim Assaulted as a Result of a Road Rage Incident

Location of Incident: Parking lot of Dicks Sporting Good’s 1365 N. Dupont Hwy, Dover

Narrative: On April 12, 2014 at 1603 hours occupants of two vehicles were involved in a road rage incident on US Route 13, just south of the Dover Mall. The victim parked his vehicle near Dicks Sporting Good’s located at 1365 N. Dupont Hwy in Dover, DE.  The victim and his family were approached by four subjects who occupied the second vehicle involved in the road rage incident. All four subjects began assaulting the victim by kicking and punching him causing serious physical injury. As the suspects fled the scene the victim’s wife was almost struck by the fleeing vehicle. The suspects were later stopped by police and arrested without incident. All suspects were committed to James. T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $9,500.00 secured bond.

Crime: Assault 2nd, Reckless Endangering 1st, Riot, Conspiracy 2nd, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a child.

Defendants: Obrien L. Morris 24, Danitra C. Watson 25, Terrus Watson, 22, Deantae L. Watson 19.
