Two Stabbed, One Hospitalized During Altercation at Woodcrest Apartments 6-3-14

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred Monday evening in the 800 block of Woodcrest Drive. Upon arrival, officers contacted a 22-year-old female victim with a stab wound to her head. The victim advised that she was involved in a verbal altercation, along with Precious Dorsey (18) with Marculus Carter (28) and was stabbed by Carter with a steak knife. The female victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital where she underwent immediate surgery and is now listed in stable condition. Officers then contacted the suspect, Marculus Carter, who was also found to have a facial laceration. Carter advised that he was stabbed/cut with a steak knife by Precious Dorsey as retaliation for his stabbing of the female victim. Carter was treated at Bayhealth Kent General hospital for his injuries and later released. Dorsey was also found to have an active warrant from New Castle County Police for robbery. Bond information on Carter and Dorsey was not available at the time of release.
