Robbery Suspect Arrested 3-4-15
Matthew Gannon was arrested on Wednesday morning just after 8:00AM by Dover Police Officers. Gannon was located and taken into custody at the bus station at the corner of Queen Street and Water Street without incident. Bond information was not available at the time of this update.

Dover Police are searching for Matthew Gannon (30) for First Degree Robbery and other charges stemming from a March 1st incident that occurred in the rear parking lot of the Dover Library. Two female victims and a child (11-month old) of one of the women were in the parking lot, preparing to exit their vehicle, when Gannon approached with a handgun and stated “this is a stick-up.” Gannon pushed the gun against the side of one of the women, who was still seated in the driver side of the vehicle and removed her wallet from the vehicles center console. Both victims advised that Gannon, along with an unknown black male, fled towards East Reed Street. Gannon is currently wanted on the following charges:
