17-Year-Old Arrested with Handgun 7-24-14

Original Narrative:

The Dover Police Street Crimes Unit, working with Delaware Probation and Parole, arrested a young Dover man with a handgun.  The team of officers contacted a group of subjects on the unit block of South New Street, who were loitering in front of a vacant residence.  During the investigation, Jalil Scott (17), was found to be in possession of a .380 Bersa Handgun and was taken into custody without incident.  Scott was charged with the following offenses:
-Carry Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Possession of Deadly Weapon by Person Prohibited
-Loitering
