Narrative:

The Dover Police Department arrested Christopher Honaker (39), of Smyrna for operating a lab to produce methamphetamine.  While investigating a call to the residence for trespassing, officers located an open door to the residence.  Officer checked inside the home for subjects that were reported to be trespassing when they located Honaker inside the kitchen area.  Officers immediately noticed a strong odor and observed what appeared to be a clandestine laboratory used to make methamphetamine.  Honaker was taken into custody without incident.  The Dover Police Department’s Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime Unit responded to the residence with DNREC Environmental Control and the Little Creek Fire Department’s HazMat Response Unit.  All of the materials and items inside the home used to make the lab were safely removed and the home was rendered safe by authorities at that time.  Honaker was committed to JTVCC in default of $20,200 secured bond on the following charges:
-Operation of Clandestine Lab
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
