Dover Man Arrested for Burglary 11-2-16

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department has arrested a Dover man in connection with at least one burglary of a shed. Officers responded to the 100 Block of Lotus Street for a report of a burglary in progress. The victim advised that the suspect, Christopher Allen (36), fled in a dark-colored Dodge truck with a stripe down both sides after trying to steal a pressure washer. Officers observed a truck matching the description in the 1300 Block of S. DuPont Highway and contacted Allen. The victim identified the vehicle and suspect as being the same person and confirmed that several baseball cards found on the suspect belonged to him and were stolen from his shed. The suspect also had numerous other pieces of property in the truck, including speakers, tools, fishing equipment, and cell phones that are believed to belong to other victims in the area (see images below).
Christopher Allen was released on $6,500 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-3rd Degree Burglary
-Theft Under $1,500
-Driving While Suspended
