Dover Man Arrested After Chasing Person While Armed with Shotgun 11-9-16

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department arrested a 35-year-old Dover man on Friday afternoon after he was seen chasing an unknown victim while armed with a shotgun. Officers responded to the area to S. New Street and Reed Street after receiving calls about the incident, while other officers were watching the city surveillance cameras. Officers watching the cameras observed the suspect chasing an unknown victim with a shotgun and observed him hide it in an undisclosed nearby location. Responding officers took possession of the weapon and Maurice Wells (35) was later identified as the suspect. Wells was later arrested and committed to JTVCC in default of $32,250 secured bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited (2x)
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
-Disorderly Conduct
-Violation of Probation
