UPDATE: (ARREST MADE) Two Teens Robbed in Williams Park 8-10-2018
Update:
Tyshaun Blue (18), of Wilmington, DE, has been charged with the armed robbery of two teen victims in Williams Park on Thursday afternoon. Detectives were able to identify Blue as the suspect during the course of their investigation and obtained warrants for him. On Friday, August 10th, 2018, Blue was stopped by Wilmington Police and Delaware Probation officers for a routine pedestrian stop. During the stop, they learned Blue was wanted for the robberies and took him into custody without incident. Blue was later turned over to Dover police detectives and was committed to JTVCC in default of $72,500 secured bond on the following offenses:
-Robbery 1st Degree (2x)
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony
-Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapon
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of two teenagers that occurred on Thursday afternoon. At approximately 3:15PM, two male victims (15 and 17 years old) were approached by a suspect in Williams Park off of Nimitz Road. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded their cell phones. The victims complied and the suspect fled towards Nimitz Road. The suspect was described as a black male with short hair, dark brown t-shirt, dark blue jeans, dirty red shoes, and a tattoo on his right forearm that reads “FOE.”
