Three Arrested in McDonald’s Burglary 5-12-2020

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department has arrested three suspects in connection with an early morning burglary at a McDonald’s restaurant located on Forrest Avenue.  Officers were called to the restaurant when managers arrived to open the store and observed that a safe was open and the contents were missing.  It was determined that suspects had gained entry to the building through a roof access door and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the safe.  

During the investigation, detectives developed Micaiah Brown (18), Dymier Bowers (19), and Kristofer Gamboa-Yepez (22) as suspects.  All of the suspects were either current or former employees of the Forrest Avenue McDonald’s location.

All three suspects were taken into custody later in the day without incident with a large sum of cash in their possession, as well as wearing the same/similar clothing that was worn during the burglary.  

All three suspects were charged with the following offenses (bonds under mugshots):
-Burglary 3rd Degree
-Wearing a Disguise During Commission of Felony
-Possession of Burglar Tools
-Illegal Gang Participation
-Theft $1500 or Greater
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
