Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating a home invasion that occurred in the 200 Block of North Queen Street.  At approximately 11:45PM, a male and female suspect knocked on the door to a residence and asked for a person by name.  A female occupant (53) told them that person was not home.  Approximately one minute later, both suspects were knocking again. This time, a different female occupant answered the door, and the suspects forced entry into the home, each brandishing a handgun.

The suspects stole a Fire tablet from one of the victims and at one point picked up a 4-year-old child and dropped him, causing a minor injury to the child before fleeing.  The suspects possibly fled in a newer model black passenger vehicle with tinted windows.

The suspects were described as follows:
Suspect 1:  Black male, late 20’s-early 30’s, wearing a black jumpsuit, with a black handgun

Suspect 2: Black female, thin build, wearing a black jumpsuit with a hood pulled tightly over her head/face, and a black mask covering her nose and mouth

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.  Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delawarecrimestoppers.com; a cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
