Family Dollar Robbery 1-12-2013

Location:  Family Dollar (650 S. Bay Road, Suite 2, Dover)

Narrative:  The Dover Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating an armed robbery at Family Dollar, located in the Bay Court Plaza shopping center.  On Sunday, January 12th at approximately 8:00pm, an unknown black male suspect entered the store wearing a ski mask and displayed an automatic handgun.  The suspect demanded the cashier to give him money from the register and the stores safe.  The suspect then fled the store and ran southbound towards the Division of Motor Vehicle complex.  Officers conducted a thorough search of the area but were unable to locate the suspect in the robbery. 

Suspect Description: Black Male (Medium Complexion) 5’7″, Medium Build
