Man Robbed Near His Home

Narrative:
On Monday July 14, 2014 a 28 year old victim received a ride from two acquaintances to cash his paycheck at a local business in Dover. Upon arriving back to the victim’s neighborhood defendant Leroy Harris (31) punched the victim in the face and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the victim. Defendant Harris got back into defendant David Donnelly’s (28) vehicle and they fled north bound on SR1. A general broadcast was made to neighboring police jurisdictions and an Officer of the Smyrna Police Department observed the suspects. Defendant Harris and Defendant Donnelly were stopped and taken into custody without incident. Defendant Donnelly was arraigned at JP#7 and committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $5,000.00 secured bond. Defendant Harris was arraigned at JP#7 and committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $5,500.00 secured bond.
