Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has arrested a 16-year-old Junior from Dover High School after he made a threat to blow up the school with a bomb.  The threat was sent via text message to a fellow student, who notified school personnel.  The School Resource Officer quickly located the student (Nicholas L. Shaw) and took him into custody without incident.  At that time, the school was evacuated and officers conducted an hours long search as a precautionary measure.  The Capital School District made the decision to dismiss students at 12:30PM as a result of the situation.  The school was cleared of any dangers later in the afternoon and classes are expected to resume as scheduled on Thursday.  As a result of the incident, Shaw will be charged with Terroristic Threatening.  At this time bond information is not available.
