Two Teens Arrested in Pair of Robberies 5-5-16

Narrative:
A 15 and 16-year-old were arrested on Wednesday morning on robbery charges. At approximately 10:38AM, the Dover Police Department was notified via 911 of an attempted robbery at the Little Grocer located at 902 East Division Street in Dover. According to the victim/employee, a white male entered the store wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with FILA printed on the front with a black male wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. The white male approached the employee with his hand in his sweatshirt acting as if he had a weapon and demanded the cash from the register. The employee refused and both suspects fled on foot.
While officers were searching the area for the suspects, they received a call for another robbery with the same suspects at Hollywood Tans (261 N. DuPont Hwy) at 10:46AM. The victim/employee stated that the suspects entered the business and demanded cash and that the black male suspect grabbed her by the arm. The employee complied and the suspects fled toward the Towne Point development. Officers checking the area observed the suspects running through a backyard and gave chase. A short time later, both suspects were arrested without incident.
