Dover Police Investigating Shooting 5-7-16

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department Criminal Investigation Unit is investigating a shots fired case that occurred early Thursday morning in the area of Greenville Ave and North Halsey Road..  At approximately 3:09AM, officers responded to the 800 block of East Division Street for shots fired. At the time, officers were unable to locate any victims or evidence.  At 7:20AM, a resident in the 800 Block of East Division Street notified police that her vehicle and home had damage from gunshots.  Officers arrived and observed the house, garage, and vehicle had been struck by gunfire.  Officers also located several shell casings that were collected as evidence.  No persons were injured as a result of the incident.
