Narrative:

The Dover Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting that left an 18-year-old female victim with a gunshot wound to her hip.  The incident began when a large group of people were gathered on Fulton Street between New Street and Queen Street.  A fight between two unknown males broke out, with one of the men pulling a gun and firing at the second male.  The crowd fled the area, however one of the shots struck the 18-year-old victim who was treated and released at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
