Dover Police Animal Control Community Outreach Event 6-30-16
The Dover Police Department Animal Control Unit will host a community outreach event on Saturday, July 9th from 9am-Noon. The event, set to take place on the lawn across from Legislative Hall, will feature a variety of vendors and activities for pets and their owners. The Dover Police Department will also be providing free microchips for dogs while supplies last, to help lost dogs find their way back to their respective owners. This event is designed to promote pet safety and to educate the public about the Animal Control division of the Dover Police Department. All pets are welcome, but must be properly leashed or contained at all times. Animal waste is the responsibility of the owner and must be picked up immediately.
