Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred on Tuesday morning at a Kentucky Fired Chicken restaurant. At 2:33 a.m., officers responded to the KFC restaurant at 233 S. DuPont Highway for an alarm activation. Arriving officers observed that the drive-thru window was broken. Video surveillance showed that a male suspect entered the business after breaking the window with a hammer and proceeded to damage cash registers and a safe with the hammer. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was wearing a dark colored jacket with rectangular stitching on the back with a light-colored hood, dark pants, and gloves.
