Dover Police Investigating Pair of Burglary Incidents

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a pair of commercial burglary incidents that occurred early Saturday morning. The first incident occurred at approximately 4:40 a.m. at D&D Liquors at 1107 South DuPont Highway when a male and female suspect approach the business. The female attempted to use a hammer to pry open/break windows but was unsuccessful. Both suspects fled the area at that time. The second incident occurred at approximately 5:02 a.m. at the Dover Tobacco store located at 1255 South State Street. Two male suspects broke a window to the store and entered. Once inside, the suspects stole various tobacco products worth over $1,500. One male suspect was wearing a coat with a dark colored hooded sweatshirt underneath, mask, black pants with a white stripe, and was carrying a red WAWA bag. The second suspect was a male wearing dark clothing with black and red sneakers.If you wish to provide information on this case or other criminal activity, please contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130.
