CANCELLED: Gold Alert Issued for Smyrna Man

UPDATE (February 25, 2022):  The Gold Alert for David A. Brown has been cancelled after he was contacted in the Smyrna area on February 25th and returned to a nearby hospital for continuing treatment.

Narrative:

The Dover Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for David A. Brown (43), of the Smyrna area.  Brown fled from Bayhealth Kent Campus at approximately 10:27 a.m. on February 23, 2022.  Brown was being treated for a condition that may pose a risk to his health and safety if not properly treated and maintained.  Brown is a black male, 5’11”, shaved head, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a burgundy polo shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.  Brown is known to frequent the Smyrna, Delaware area.
