Two Teens Arrested Following Stolen Vehicle Investigation

Narrative: The Dover Police Department has arrested a pair of teens, a 15-year-old white male and a 15-year-old black male, both from Dover, DE following a stolen vehicle investigation Monday afternoon. The investigation began when Dover Police took the report of a stolen Kia Rio earlier in the day. Officers from the Dover Police Drugs, Vice and Organized Crime Unit located the vehicle occupied in the 300 block of Fulton Street and requested the Street Crimes Unit contact the occupants. Prior to officers arrival, the suspects exited the vehicle and began to walk away. Officers arrived and attempted to contact the suspects when the 15-year-old white male fled on foot and the 15-year-old black male was taken into custody without incident. After a brief foot pursuit, the 15-year-old white male was taken into custody without further.

The 15 year-old-white male was arraigned and released to a guardian on the following charges:
-Resisting Arrest
-Receiving Stolen Property
-Conspiracy Second

The 15-year-old black male was arraigned and released to a guardian on the following charges:
-Receiving Stolen Property
-Conspiracy Second
