Complaint #: 50-13-32968 & 50-13-32264
The Dover Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit, in conjunction with the Delaware State Police, conducted an investigation into a recent string of robberies throughout Dover and State Police jurisdictions. During that investigation, the agencies were able to identify Lytia T. Bailey (DOB: 12-17-1985) and Brian Daniels (DOB: 6-21-1972) as suspects in those robberies. Bailey’s vehicle, a dark blue Jeep Grand Cherokee was also identified as a possible suspect vehicle. On Tuesday, December 3rd, at approximately 10:41pm, patrol officers observed the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop at North Dupont Highway and White Oak Road. The operator was identified as Lytia Bailey. During a search of the vehicle, investigators located a black BB gun and clothing that was linked to the robberies. Bailey was taken into custody for her involvement in the robberies at the Sunoco gas station on 11-22-2013, and the Dunkin’ Donuts (Route 8) on 11-30-2013 by the Dover Police Department. Delaware State police also charged Bailey with robberies that occurred in their respective jurisdiction. Warrants were obtained by the Dover Police Department for Brian Daniels for the same robberies as well. Police are still seeking Daniels and it is unknown if he is still in the Dover area at this time. Anyone with any information on Daniels’ whereabouts should contact 911 immediately.
