Original Story: The Dover Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery that took place on Saturday, January 25th at 9:29AM.  The incident took place at Walgreen’s (1215 South State Street) when an unknown black male suspect entered the business and displayed a firearm to an employee.  The suspect forced the employee to open the cash register and removed an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect then fled towards the rear of Walgreen’s into the Carol’s Corner Shopping Center.  The suspect may have fled in a green Cadillac with tinted windows.

Update:  The Dover Police Department has arrested Ronald Rogers (DOB: 2-22-1954) in connection with the robbery that occurred at Walgreen’s (1215 South State Street) on January 25th.  Rogers was taken into custody on Wednesday, February 5th, just a few hours after he robbed the 1st National Bank of Wyoming located at 800 South Governors Avenue at 9:24AM  (See article here: http://wp.me/p407do-nt).  An investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigations Unit led to the charges against Rogers after detectives were able to link him to the Walgreen’s robbery.
