Arrest Made in Shooting at Dover Inn 10-16-2018
UPDATE: Antonio Bynum (23) has been arrested in connection with the shooting/robbery that occurred at the Dover Inn on Sunday evening. The Delaware State Police arrested Bynum during a search warrant in a separate investigation (https://dsp.delaware.gov/2018/10/16/joint-investigation-leads-multiple-charges-dover)
Bynum was charged with the following offenses in the shooting incident at the Dover Inn and was committed to SCI on $432,000 cash bond:
-Robbery 1st Degree
-Attempted First Degree Robbery (3x)
-Assault 1st Degree
-Possession of Deadly Weapon During Commission of Felony
-Home Invasion
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited
-Aggravated Menacing (3x)
-Reckless Endangering (3x)
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred on Sunday night. At approximately 7:36PM, unknown suspects forced their way into a room at the Dover Inn where a 23-year-old male victim was located. During the incident, the victim was shot multiple times and had property stolen. The victim was taken to a hospital by private vehicle where he underwent surgery and is currently admitted in serious condition.
It is believed that this was not a random act.
