Arrest Made in July 16th Wells Fargo ATM Robbery 9-4-2020
UPDATE: The Dover Police Department, New Castle County SWAT, and U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force arrested Mar-Ky Frederick in connection with the July 16th ATM robbery that occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank on North DuPont Highway. Frederick was arrested in Wilmington, DE without incident on September 3rd, 2020.
Detectives were able to identify Frederick and an attempt was made to arrest him at a residence on Collins Drive in Dover on August 21st. However, Frederick fled on foot and eluded police at the time. Officers did locate the clothing that Frederick was wearing in the woods and found heroin and his identification information inside of the clothing.
Frederick was also wanted by the Delaware State Police, New Castle County Police, and on a Violation of Probation at the time of his arrest. In addition to Dover charged from the July 16th incident, Frederick was found to be a suspect and charged with offenses stemming from thefts from vehicles in Dover on July 15th.
Frederick was committed to HRYCI on a $95,000 cash bond on the following charges from Dover:
-Robbery 1st Degree
-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (3x)
-Reckless Endangering 1st Degree
-Wearing a Disguise During Commission of Felony
-Receiving Stolen Property
-Theft Under $1,500 (2x)
-Criminal trespass 2nd Degree (2x)
-Resisting Arrest
-Possession of Heroin
-Disorderly Conduct
-Drug Paraphernalia

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place at an outdoor ATM at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 100 North DuPont Highway. At approximately 2:39AM on Thursday morning, a male victim was withdrawing cash from the ATM when he was approached by a black male suspect on foot. The suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money and the victim dropped his wallet, but was still holding cash in his hand from the ATM. The victim then fled eastbound across DuPont Highway and the suspect fired at least three shots at the victim. The victim was not struck, but one round did strike a parked vehicle in the area. The victim observed the suspect enter a vehicle behind the bank and flee southbound with an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim.
