Suspect Arrested After Sally Beauty Supply Burglary 11-5-2020

Narrative: 
The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at Sally Beauty Supply.  At approximately 1:43 a.m. on Thursday, November 5th, officers responded to the business for a burglary alarm.  When officers arrived, they observed that the front glass door to the business was broken. Officers watched video footage of the incident and obtained a suspect description.  A short time later, patrol officers observed the suspect (Samuel Curtis, 57) in the downtown area and took him into custody without incident.  Curtis was in possession of several items that were stolen from Sally Beauty Supply.

Curtis was charged with the following offenses:
-Burglary 3rd Degree
-Possession of Burglar’s Tools
-Criminal Mischief
-Theft

Curtis was committed to SCI on a $6,100 secured bond.
