Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Thursday afternoon. At approximately 2:18 p.m., officers responded to a vacant lot in the Unit Block of South Kirkwood Street for a report of multiple shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located several shell casings in the area and contacted residents of the Unit Block of S. Queen Street that backs up to the area where the shooting occurred. It was determined that no injuries resulted from the shooting but that two homes on S. Queen Street were struck by gunfire.
