Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Saturday morning. Officers responded to the area of S. Governors Avenue and Loockerman Street for a report of shots fired at approximately 1:23 a.m. Upon arrival, officers located a 27-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent Campus for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Several shell casings were located in the area of S. Governors Avenue and Minor Street Alley.
