Dover Man Robbed by Suspect with Knife 12-15-14

Incident #: 50-14-33841   Date: Saturday, December 13th, 2014 at 5:15PM

Location:  Governors Avenue and Mary Street, Dover, DE

Narrative:
The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday afternoon.  The incident occurred when a 27-year-old male victim was riding his bicycle to work in the area of Governors Avenue and Mary Street when he was approached by an unknown black male suspect who asked for a light (lighter).  The suspect then produced a wood handled steak knife and stated “You already know what it is” and took the victims cell phone, wallet, and an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.  The suspect was described as a black male in his late teens/early twenties, 5’10”, 150-160 pounds,, black hooded sweatshirt, white shoes, and white socks on his hands.
