Dover Children’s Village Burglary 6-22-2020

Narrative: 

The Dover Police Department is conducting an investigation into a burglary at a child care center that occurred on Saturday, June 20th.  Between 4:39PM-4:46PM, an unknown male suspect gained entry into the building through a rear window.  Once inside, the suspect stole various items and fled on foot from the main entrance door.  The suspect was seen on surveillance video and is described as a light-complected male, average height and build, wearing a black hat, dark shirt with stripes on the sleeves, orange and yellow traffic safety vest, dark jeans, and black shoes.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.  Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delawarecrimestoppers.com; a cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
